Granting a simple right of use - what for and how?
In order for the Trier UAS Library to be able to unlock your document, it needs a simple right of use to your work. This allows the library to publish the document freely accessible worldwide on the internet, to save your data and to convert it if necessary. The right also applies to the German National Library and, if required, to subject-specific libraries with a national collection mandate.
To grant the right of use, please send your completed and signed consent form to the library. You will receive the form by e-mail within a few days after uploading the document.
Data privacy
The Trier UAS Library collects and uses your personal data exclusively within the provisions of the data protection laws of the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany and only to fulfil the requirements associated with the provision of its services. Specifically, the data collected on the publication server OPUS is processed in order to make the publications you have uploaded accessible, to archive them and to implement the mandatory submission to the German National Library. These processing operations are legally permitted in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b and lit. e DSGVO. The detailed data protection declaration is available for you as a PDF document (German).
